Tart cherries, chocolate casein, milk, and Greek yogurt combine into a slow-digesting recovery shake ideal for evening muscle repair.
Nutrition per serving
Ingredients
- scoops chocolate casein protein (about 60 g)2
- 1 cup frozen tart cherries140 g
- 1 cup milk of choice240 ml
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt120 g
- unsweetened cocoa powder1 tbsp
- almond butter optional1 tbsp
- ice cubes6
Steps
- 1.Combine casein, cherries, milk, yogurt, and cocoa in blender
- 2.Add almond butter if using and add ice
- 3.Blend on medium-high until smooth and thick
- 4.Adjust thickness with extra milk if too thick
- 5.Divide into two glasses and sip slowly
