Light antioxidant and vitamin C boosting snack: crispy spiced fox nuts with a citrus serving and a few almonds for healthy fats.

Ingredients
- Makhana (fox nuts) 1 cup (about 30 g)
- Olive oil or ghee 1 tsp
- Pinch of chaat masala or black salt
- Black pepper pinch
- Orange 1 small (peeled and sectioned)
- Almonds 6 whole
Steps
- 1.Heat a small nonstick pan over medium heat; add 1 tsp oil.
- 2.Add makhana and roast, stirring often, until puffed and crisp (4–6 minutes).
- 3.Sprinkle chaat masala and black pepper while tossing; remove from heat.
- 4.Toast almonds in the same pan 1–2 minutes if desired and let cool.
- 5.Peel and section the orange and serve alongside the roasted makhana and almonds.
