Ingredients
- dry pasta (about 2 cups cooked)160 g
- canned crushed tomatoes (or half a can)1 cup
- spinach or shredded cabbage1 cup
- garlic, 1 tbsp oil, salt, pepper, dried oregano1 clove
Steps
- 1.Cook pasta according to package directions; reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
- 2.Heat oil in a pan, sauté garlic 30 seconds then add canned tomatoes and oregano; simmer 5–7 minutes.
- 3.Stir in spinach or cabbage until wilted and add reserved pasta water to thin sauce as needed.
- 4.Combine pasta with sauce, toss to coat, and serve.
