- yellow moong dal1/2 cup
- water1 cup
- mixed steamed vegetables1/2 cup
- oil1 teaspoon
- mustard seeds1/4 teaspoon
- Saltto taste
Steps
- 1.Rinse moong dal and cook with water until soft (8–10 minutes).
- 2.Steam vegetables until tender-crisp.
- 3.Prepare tadka by heating oil, adding mustard seeds and pouring into cooked dal.
- 4.Serve dal with steamed vegetables for a light dinner.
